After 5 Years, When Will Microsoft Touchscreen Available ?

Well, after announcing it 5 years ago, Microsoft still not launch this product just yet. People are getting bored in expecting this technology. Microsoft also feels the same thing. Steve Ballmer said that they’re “going to follow our nose” and put it to the grindstone to get a consumer version of its Surface touch computer out to your local Best Buy sooner, rather than way later after a total project re-boot with five different versions and horrible driver support. Good news, huh ? from.http://www.tuvie.com/after-5-years-when-will-microsoft-touchscreen-available

Polaroid’s digital frame to carry on instant film legacy?

For all of you out there who have a lifetime’s worth of memories on Polaroids, the firm’s announcement of shutting down its instant film production seems as shocking as the loss of a loved one. The company has already announced that they are manufacturing just enough film to last through 2009 before they close down the factories. But I guess the company will give its faithful customers a goodbye present in the form of a digital frame that will allow users to view images saved on memory cards in ‘Standard’ mode, which is regular digiframe view, and ‘Classic’ mode which lest you see your pictures as if they were taken on instant film! What’s also very cool about this new frame is that the images take over a minute to fade into view so you’re always curious what photo is coming up next (which might be a great game when you’re stoned!). And since the frame also features a hole for a pushpin, you’ll never miss those old stick-it-on-the-corkboard Polaroids. The frame’s rechargeable battery allows you to do away with the annoying cord while the dry erase surface on the bottom of the frame lets you write your custom message for the slideshow, just like the good old days! Which only makes me wonder if the Polaroid will make a grand comeback as one of the greatest retro must-haves of all times. from.http://www.bornrich.org/entry/polaroid-s-digital-frame-to-carry-on-instant-film-legacy/
